Stop at :  Bamboo Train

First we go to see original Bamboo Train at Osro Lao Village. we will be here about an hour if you ride Bamboo Train. We can see mini old translations. The scenery from the rice fields is scenic. We can walk around the village for 20 minutes before returning back on the Bamboo train.

The way to :  Ek Phnom Temple

After have fun by riding Bamboo Train in the morning, we explore the north of Battambang countryside. We will stop to visit the villagers. We will see how they produce local products like fish paste, sticky rice, rice papers, and rice wine. We will learn how they dry bananas. We also have a chance to learn more about the Khmer Rouge. We will visit the well of shadows (in Wat Samrongknong). It is a monument to honor the people killed during the war.

The last thing to see at the north side is Wat Ek Phnom Temple. Then we go back to the city to have lunch. Alternatively, we can have lunch in the village if time allows.

Last attraction :  Phnom Sampeau mountain

In the afternoon, we enter the last part of the full-day Battambang tour. We continue our journey in a TukTuk or car. We move towards Phnom Sampov mountain. This place has shrines and killing caves that were used during the Khmer Rouge period. Enjoy the vast and beautiful scenery. We will end our journey before sunset. At dusk, visit the ‘Bat army’—thousands of bats flying out of their caves in the mountainside.
